Tony: Just as a side bar question, How is it that Hugh Freeze is still coaching at Ole Miss when nobody disputes anything that Laremy Tunsil has said...anything..How does that work?

Forde: Because he won the last two years against Nick Saban. That certainly helps. That bought him a whole lot of extra rope. That's for sure.

Tony: Well the rope is around his feet right now. You can't believe they are not going to be put on probation for this. Can you?

Forde: Oh I think they could potentially get slammed. I don't see what the argument is going to be or justification is going to be for the Tunsil stuff and the investigation is ongoing. They're talking to other players...I reported this last month..at other schools about their recruitment at Ole Miss so this isn't just a Laremy Tunsil problem potentially any more depending on what the other players said.

Tony: Again. Let me repeat this. Nobody disputes anything he (Tunsil) said! sooo, yeah, that's a big one.

But PAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWLLLL, they just made mistakes. 9 over 3. Exemplorary cooperation. Witch hunt.

Then Killaburger will write a 10 page expose' on how this is all much ado about nothing and ESPN has an agenda because they were bought and paid for by Bama. Yancy will come out of his Xanax and Robitussin induced stupor and crawl out of the back bathroom stall of the Library and mention something about a 5* recruit coming for a visit and things look good, Alford will get off of his knees from under Bjork's desk, wipe his mouth off, and start saying how the investigation is all over and the NCAA is really looking at other schools and making it look like they are only interested in TSUN as a cover and they're basing their operations there because the Grove is just so damn beautiful.

This cloud is hurting om. They're last in the west right now in recruiting rankings. Right now they don't have an OOS 4* committed... freeze hasn't had 1 recruiting class without 1 yet. They have 2 4* in-state commits, but I don't think gay is a done deal yet. They have no commits yet for '18.

Nice Stark!!! What I like is when Freezes states that "...mistakes were made, and we'll own those." Yet repeatedly making the same "mistakes" shows a willful pattern of circumventing the rules (which is cheating).

For example, wasn't Freeze mentioned in the NOA of being in the presence of a known booster and a recruit at the same time ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS? Didn't the NOA mention free lodging for recruits' family members being provided for extended periods ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS? Per the NOA, weren't free loaner vehicles provided to certain recruits ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS (even after TCUN was directed to stop and monitor after the 1st occurrence)? yada yada yada (ad nauseum)

Spring 2017 is going to be glorious when we find out how "mistakes being made" are going to cost a university and a community for 10+ years (or more).

Posting a rumor below that could explain it... Again, usually I don't even post 3rd or 4th degree info like this, but it makes a lot of sense as to why heads haven't rolled. Again, I don't know how legit it is, but I did hear it from typically reliable and plugged in people. Yes, "people" as in plural. And of course this is paraphrased and not direct quotes.

Rumor: Hugh and/or Bjork told Barney "we're going to have to let you go." Barney looked back and said, "If I go, you're going too. You told me to do this."

Discussion was over at that point and it hasn't resurfaced.

Heard that to and I think someone made a post alluding to that conversation way back right after the draft blew up.

They're 17'd to Hell and back. I wonder if we'll see Wommack "retiring" and other coaches "moving on" at the end of the season.

I stood next to Wommack at a Starkville High game this year and the weirdo stared at me, finally I gave him a nod and said "Hey, how are you doing?" He continued to stare and not say a word. I kind of got a Sandusky vibe from him. Really strange.

I'm assuming he means Dave Wommack, UMiss's DC, when he was perhaps coming to see Willie Gay play ball, maybe?

How is that...Parrish Alford was interviewed by DawgNation about the upcoming game vs UGA. I am paraphrasing...

Can you bring us up to date on the NCAA investigation, what to expect, and when it might be done?

Alfrod: The when...don't know. The what...I expect a few more scholarship reductions to be tacked on(I am guessing to what UM offered).

That was pretty much it...

I don't believe this is Barney's first dance at OM, is it?

He's certainly not sticking his head out there on a question after draft night I can tell you. I'm surprised he doesn't consult his talking points card before he opens his mouth to order lunch at Burger King.

You have to wonder if they are willing to give Barney a "retirement buyout" but at this point I doubt that even lessens the penalties. They have to know they are on borrowed time and they are trying to stockpile wins and reputation for when they are hit. I have to believe if the NCAA is willing to give Little and Patterson immunity for their testimony that UNM would be extremely screwed.

I overheard OM fans pondering who Freeze should get when he lets Wommack go at the end of the year! I said that Freeze won't be there to hire anyone and they just laughed. They are so blind, deaf and dumb!
