Why do we still do this? We haven't had a leader that would actually put effort into it since Dixon.

It just looks silly when it's forced and the players aren't having fun with it. Dixon was a character and until we get someone like him again I say we let it go.

Agree, got to have somebody with swag to pull it off. Looks terrible without that.

My guess is that they still want to do it. They are the ones playing, they can do whatever the hell they want to do.

We've always played the original version by Chuck Smooth, haven't we?

Yes, you are correct. We play the Chuck Smooth version.

Well, the remake definitely destroyed the song.

If UM can do the landshark on the field, how come we can't do the Dawg Pond Rock on the field?

Just keep Dixon on the sideline and let him lead it. He was full of energy last week. He's not playing anymore.

Dixon is just a very fun and exciting guy, it's hard not to like him. Last week he was up jumping around trying to get the crowd into the game.

You don't see that much from other guys that come back to watch a game on the sidelines, here or at other schools.

No one could lead us better than Kenzaki Jones. Jones & Dixon would be a killer.

Maybe we can hire Boobie for this task now that he's been released. Anyone have any insight on whether or not he will make it back on a team?

I love it. I wish the entire stadium would do it.

I remember going into overtime against Arkansas Ryan Mallett's senior year and looking up to our sideline breaking it out. It was juice-city.

Boobie had a couple of surgeries that kept him from signing this year. He has said rehab should have him good to go for possibly one more shot next season.

We need Dixon to be our trooper.

A few years ago Kensaki came back to give the team instructions on how to properly perform the "Rock". I don't remember when. Maybe it's time to get him back. I still like it. Would like to see the crowd get involved like years ago.

Love Boobie. One of the all time bulldog greats. On and off the field.

Kenzaki was the original creator of the Dog Pound Rock.
