You got production out of Brandon Holloway. A petite super fast 2 star scatback out of HS. Yes, Coach Mullen, you're a genius. We all recognize that. We all realize Holloway can be quite productive when used on the edges ONLY.
You have proved your point. We all appreciate you identifying and developing Brandon into the player he is today when no other SEC coach even bothered to offer him. Twas a fantastic move on your part & we are all thankful for you and Brandon.
BUT
it will not work on Saturday night between the tackles. It has been proven as recently as last two weeks that him up the middle double digit times is a recipe for killing momentum and losing. Aeris should've gotten 15 carries 2H last week to blow out USC. Aeris should have gotten 15 carries vs USA to empower confidence in our OL run blocking, but you didn't do it.
Do yourself a favor Saturday like you did in 2014 and play your best RB a majority of the time. Remember, playing Aeris vs LSU a ton is YOUR IDEA, not ours. It's what you wanted to do all along and why we all recognize you as a genius. You have the better team and you should beat LSU again on Saturday if you play the best RB. You screwed up last year playing the Cooler, Shump & not Aeris. Don't do it again. Thanks to you, we will yet again have the better QB, now go do this for yourself and play Aeris and get a big Win.
