I'm always interested to hear of fans coming to games from great distances. Because I run into people from Columbus at the game from time to time. I usually get..."I thought you moved to Memphis." As if it is unfathomable to drive 2.5 hours to watch the game.

We've lived in the Northern VA suburbs of Washington DC the last 10 years and have probably been to 30-35 games at Davis Wade during that time frame. Trips back to Mississippi are a wonderful way to remind our kids of where we are from, how Mom and Dad came about the value system we live by, and why we will be moving back some day. Nothing in this area can compare to game day on campus at MSU.

Crowd enthusiasm will be there, if we can make some things happen on offense early. But I'm gonna get a different kind of angry (the kind quickly followed by doom), if our receivers can't get open to make receptions, or we can't cover telegraphed passes. No excuse for that bullshit.
