1. An innovative offensive mind at head coach
2. a staff full of relentless recruiters that can relate to kids and coaches in this area.
3. Target MS high schools, MS Jucos, AL, GA, TN and LA. Anywhere else is a waste of resources and time unless there is a legit connection.
4. We have to EXCEL on special teams. Not be average or good, but EXCEL. That means offering a scholarship to a kicker and putting our best players on special teams and possibly paying a special teams coach. He can also coach TE's if need be.
5. Everybody pulling in the same direction. (no recipe here, it's a tough one)
