They have had Peters in the wrong position. Our starting D needs to be:

Viper: Gerri Green (get some more athletes on the field together)
LB: Leo Lewis
LB: Richie Brown
Star: Peters

S: Brandon Bryant
S: Mark McLaurin

CB: Durr
CB: Graham

Then we rotate our two groups of down 3:

DT: Thomas/Simmons
NT: Adams/James
DE: Jefferson/Calvin

Don't rotate players in the back 7!! Big drop off after the starters.

This is the entire fanbase's #1 issue with Mullen. NOT Hevesy, NOT OL, NOT recruiting, NOT cheating @ recruiting, NOT bend but don't break, etc

Aeris Williams was the MS HS POY and he's been here 3 freaking years. Maybe I'm blind, but he dragged a few guys his first carry on Saturday and shifting up through the hole. Shump has never done that. Not once.

Just putting Bryant and McLaurin at safety at the same time whole game would reduce our total points given up by 10+ / game. Guarantee it. Coman is that awful.

Hoops you should be the new DC! This is how it should be! The only rotation should be on the DL. There's no reason that the LB's and DB's should be coming out like they have been anyway, accept as occasional breather or when the game is in hand.

No. McLaurin still has coverage issues and is no better than Coman. Now if you want to go that route for developing a younger guy that has a higher ceiling. Ok. But as far what he will do on the field? About the same. Maybe he takes a big leap the second half. It's like the JT Gray vs Jackson situation last year many kept beating the drum that he is so much better. He was faster than Jackson and thought he played sideline to sideline better but his coverage was bad last year. Now after one game many of the same people are blasting Dan for playing Gray when a year ago they were blasting him for not playing Gray.
