Guys we cheated under Tyler, a little maybe in Jackie's 13 years, and in the Redman mess (maybe a rogue booster and dumb asst coach) and got caught and penalized by the NCAA every time. All three happened in my lifetime. Every time were starting to win and someone wanted to keep us in our place. So far don't look too good at playing that game. In the same years UNM got hit hard for cheating in the Billy Brewer years and I think they get hammered over all this mess. I'm just as tired on waiting on the sometimes incompetent NCAA to do something as some of my hometown UNM friends. They are in denial about the NCAA but happy so far tonight. One co-worker even told me that even if they got severely hammered, if he could he would do again and give mass amounts of $ to do it if he had it. I asked if he would feel bad if found the victories had come with massive cheating and he replied with very strong, NO.

Ole miss is a program that should have the same ceiling as us. Similar size program. Similar history. Same recruiting pool. They are a program we should be able to compete with. Amen BB30....too many Gomers on this board worried about Ole Miss. Stay focused on Mississippi State...and that may very well mean letting go of Dan Mullen at season's end but that will play out over the remaining 11 games. Losing to South Bama in year 8 is completely unacceptable. It was clear last year Mullen wanted out and that will work against him if he can't turn it around. Again I disagree. The Mississippi classes of 2018 and 2019 are allegedly pretty good. We'll see how it plays out. IF we get a good coach that can recruit and play our best players I think we will turn it around pretty soon. Especially if we retain all the JUCO recruits we have committed.

The KEY is to get pressure on him and not play soft ass zone. So, if you BLITZ and play some zone behind it odds are pretty good that you can get some turnovers. I think what happened tonight FSU wasn't used to their tempo plus it being the first game with a freshman QB caused them to get into a hole. Once they got that TD late and then got the ball back they started to roll.
