You put your best athletes on the field. If they're aren't ready, it's the coaches job to get them ready. It is easier to run block than pass block and your OL guys are marginal? Then run the damn running spread. It's that damn simple.

Don't forget we have questionable talent with our recent recruiting and a completely new coaching staff on D. It also takes our coaching staff on O at least 3 years to get a RB ready to see the field, BUT, as I stated on another thread, this wasn't a conference game, we can still win the SEC! Yeah, like the year Emory Bellard predicted we would win the SEC and did't win a single league game that year. We have a lot of adversity to overcome this year and I have little hope we can do that this year.

Saban appears to be OK playing freshmen if they are the best players.

Saban can waste a scholarship on an OLineman from West Point that we should have had just to keep us from getting him. Many of our current players wouldn't make their scout team, especially in the OL.

100% !! Dan uses the excuse that a player is t ready when most other teams can get their 4 or 5 star guys ready!! We can't. Either get them ready and put the talent on the field or get out now where we can start over!!!
