The Good:
1. Our RS Freshmen and True Freshmen skill players on offense did ok. Mixon, Thomas and Couch.
2. Aeries Williams got 5 yards and 8 yards up the middle the only 2 times we gave him the ball.
3. Leo Lewis is a beast.
4. We kicked off 5 times and all 5 were touchbacks. We should do this every time. Screw the pop-ups to the 20!
5. While still not resembling an SEC running back, Shump did run with his head up and actually cut back a couple of times to hit the hole. A 100% improvement from last year.
6. AJ Jefferson is still AJ Jefferson.
7. There is no drop-off between our 2nd string and 3rd string corners. (see #4 under The Ugly for the reality check).

The Bad:
1. Damien Williams had to thread the needle on almost every pass. I never saw a receiver open past the line of scrimmage all day.
2. McLaurin took a terrible angle on a go route along the sideline and ended up 5 yards behind the play when he got there. Thank goodness the QB led the receiver out of bounds.
3. While they were two big plays, JT Gray looked soft and lost except on the sack and the fumble recovery on the punt return.

The Ugly:
1. Holloway up the middle.
2. Holloway up the middle.
3. Holloway up the middle.
4. Our db's may not knock a pass down or have an int all year.
5. Nothing has changed with our FG kicking.
6. Holloway up the middle.

Another Ugly:
7. Not making the tackle for the Safety when we had them backed up on their 1 yrd. line.

Ugly:

Against a 2nd string Dline, our Oline looked weak. Not even a SEC 2nd string.

Finally an intelligent poster! Was starting to think this board was devoid of them.
