I know some of y'all read both boards as I do. But, I wanted to ensure this was seen over here as well. I scrolled through two pages and didn't see it posted, so I'm starting a new thread.

I idolized Will "The Thrill" Clark, AKA The Natural, as a child. I'm sure many other State fans and baseball fans did as well. Here's a brief look behind the scenes of his career.

The best baseball player Miss State has ever had. And a really great guy.

These are exceptional and gets to show Will as a person. Some may or may not know he has an autistic son, and the extensive work he and his wife have done with Autism Speaks. Lots of MSU video/photos featured as well. The day he was was drafted, I became a Giants fan and have been a proud one ever since. Was great to see the club bring him back as an instructor the last few years, which led to him finally getting those elusive WS rings.

Fantastic....I really do not think our fanbase truly understand just how good WC was, and how well respected he was and still is in the Bigs.

I would have liked to have seen his numbers had he not had that elbow injury early in his career. Some said that it changed his approach from a hitter with power to an opposite field hitter or it may have been how he was pitched. I guess we will never know.
