I was afraid of this.
Goodbye killer DE, hello double teamed DT.

This is simply a "put your best players on the field" thing for now
He wasn't going to start at DE anyway- and with the problems currently at DT- why not put him somewhere he can help more than just watching from the sideline?
Everybody needs to pump the breaks

A double teamed DT can mean the world to a decent DE.

Not to mention it keeps people off your LB's

It's going to be hard to double him from the 3 tech with his explosiveness & speed. I actually LOVE the move. After seeing him live in practice a few times oh my goodness he's going to be a force!

I like it short term, but I'd rather see him become a dominant DE. He's quick enough and fast enough to be All-SEC DE type by next year.

Yeah our coaches have a history of putting guys in positions that limits their ability. *****
Chill guys, I believe the coaches know more than any of us wannabe's.

true.
I just hope he's as dominant on the end as I think he can be. I see a great DT in him, but I had aspirations of #1 overall draft pick at DE in a few years.

with his talent level, I'd even expect to see him at RB in goal line situations, ala Fridge... just let the boy play... I don't care where, just put him on the dadgum field...

These are my thoughts exactly.
Put him wherever we most need him right now, and if Evans and/or James are either suspended or just not putting it together, then that's probably DT right now.
Just don't fall in love with him there; but I'm pretty sure we still see him as a DE.
