# of 2 & 3-star players drafted since 2010:
MSU - 14 of 21 total drafted
OM - 6 of 13 total drafted

# of 2 & 3 star players drafted since 2013
MSU - 9
OM - 3

# of 4 & 5 star draft eligible recruits 2009-2013:
MSU - 21 (1 5-star)
OM - 50 (7 5-star)
OM with 29 more 4 & 5-star, yet MSU got 21 kids drafted compared to 13 for OM since 2010. This figure would look at lot worse for OM if I actually took the recruit figures back 4 years prior to 2010, instead of just 1.

So yes, Miss State is clearly much better at developing players than Ole Miss. It's not even close.

This. I agree we do a good job "coaching em up". But we don't get near the credit for ou evals. If we offer a kid early, I don't care if he has one star I'm ok we it because they've earne my trust on evals.

Seems like MSU would be better at beating OM then. Must be the pre-game and game day coaching.

Valid point. For some reason we've played tight and not to lose these last two egg bowls. Maybe the snake oil keeps them loose up north.
