Yeah, i'll pull for most of the SEC teams, other than the Bears. I think most of the SEC teams will win, except I expect Auburn to lose to Clemson and OM to lose to FSU. I'll pull for Vandy over South Carolina.

I think Florida is playing UMass so it might be worthwhile to flip to their game occasionally to see how their team looks. I don't expect much.

I say we need all our opponents to have the best record/highest ranking possible. Looks better when we win, hurts less (in the polls) when we lose. So yes, I pull for other SEC teams.

This opening weekend, however, the anti-SEC crowd will get to eat. Auburn and OM will likely lose, with AU likely being a blowout. aTm will be in for a crazy tough game at home too. Bama will roll, but the rest if the SEC might be in trouble.

The entire reason the SEC is perceived to be the best conference is because of what it does in non-conference games.

It's helped us tremendously that the league has had 7-8 national champs in the last 10 years. We wouldn't be able to thump our chests about being 7-5 if we were in the 4th best conference in the country. If not for the perception of the SEC that led to us playing 3 top 10 teams (that didn't end up being top 10 teams), we wouldn't have gotten to #1 and received the notoriety that we did in 14'
