Damian Williams listed as the starter, not that it means much.

They all are listed as starters. Has or between all 3.

They did the whole "or" thing, but I do think that could mean Williams gets the first snap.

Spencer not a RS... Wow

HoopsDawg

surprised to see Spencer on the 2 deep. Surprised to see the OR on Rayford and Durr. And also a little surprised to see the Or with Peters and Smitherman. Pretty clear Peters is the 4th safety right now, maybe 5th.

Gotta find a position for peters

I don't read anything into the qb thing. No Nick James.

I still think Fitz gets the start but Damien very well may get it due to seniority..

In class order? The only "or" that isn't in class order is LT

I still think Green plays some Viper. Will Coleman must be banged up.

Where's Mullins? Thought he was gonna be a good player

Our 3 most explosive offensive players are all in the slot. Wish there was a way to get them in the game together

Wonder how big of a gap there is between farrod green and Thomas

Gray isn't in the slot & he's 1 of our 3 most explosive offensive guys.

I've taken dumps that are more meaningful than this depth chart

DudyDawg

No receiver listed over 6'2, and even that seems generous for Ross.

Yep. No change from what we've been told all camp. Could be mean everything...or could mean nothing. Dan not tipping his cap yet.

This doesn't really concern me. We are faster than we've ever been at WR in return

Dan is going to name the qb starter at 1 today and it's expected to be Fitz per Steve.

Yep. I think The guards are backwards. Pretty sure it's Calhoun left and Desper right. Bill probably did that just to see if anyone noticed.

Traver Jung listed as 3rd string linebacker. I know these things are useless but I'm hoping to see him contribute this year. Has he been injured?

Yea, I'm just pointing it out, since the story last week was that he wasn't going to be used on KR to save some lumps for more RB carries.

Spencer was listed at 6'5" 243 on recruiting profile. He's listed at 6'3" 270 on depth chart. Anyone seen Spencer? Is that good weight or bad weight he's gained?

All I know is if he gets on the field playing the Viper at that size then he's a bad dude.

ETA: It appears Calvin is around the same size. I guess I was envisioning the Viper as more of a 6'5", 250lb ish position. Since that's the case, I'd assume Spencer's size is in line with what the coaches are looking for and therefore good.

He's built like a bigger Gerri Green.

Good deal. I'm really shocked Spencer is on the depth chart this year. I thought for sure he'd be a RS coming from a less than stellar HS program and his age. I always thought he'd be a great player though

The ONLY position that has a SR backing up a underclassman is one of the LB positions. If a senior is in the 2 deep he's starting in game 1. Trust me, this is a useless peice of paper.

22 seniors and juniors on the 2 deep. Most are redshirted players. So I don't want to hear the "we are young" line again this year. He dropped it in one of his press conferences a couple of weeks ago.

Spencer is an elite talent. He's the quickest rush end on the team at 270.

As far as Jordan Thomas I'm all for redshirting him if for no other reason than we might need to make him an offensive tackle the way Hevesey recruits. 285 is awfully big for a tight end that is 6'5" even though he can run.

Good news is we have some guys that can put in the end zone outside the 20 in dear, Ross, gray, mixon, and even Holloway.

If fitz is the runner we think he is, then he can help in the red zone. Also, I doubt you see Holloway at tailback much inside the 20
