The spirit mob has apparently stalked the Facebook page of Chris Howard, african-american investigator for the NCAA, and found a post about him expressing how the confederate flag symbol offends him.

They are looking for any excuse they can find to hang their hat on other than freeze is a cheater. When it all hits they will blame everyone other than the coaches and network that destroyed the program

Now we know why they quit playing Dixie. If the guy says on his page that his favorite color is green, red and blue will be out the door next week.

Apparently it was one of the moderators who had the original post but deleted it. I wonder how many hateful Facebook messages Chris Howard has in his inbox right now?

What was that crap article a few months back that listed State fans as one of the most angry fan bases?

Unbelievable. UM dolts are easily some of the sorriest and most pathetic humans on the planet. There needs to be some social media policy that identifies UM fans and then bans them from Twitter, Facebook, etc. for life. They are bad enough in real life, but get them on social media and their temperament is comparable to a bunch of children trying to catch greased cats.

Why would a black guy being upset about the confederate flag be a "gotcha moment" for Ole Miss fans?

The spirit mob has apparently stalked the Facebook page of Chris Howard, african-american investigator for the NCAA, and found a post about him expressing how the confederate flag symbol offends him.

He could troll them big time by saying for every 5 angry posts he gets hes' recommending an extra scholarship be taken away.

But seriously, this just shows they know the gig is up. This is tantamount to the condemned taunting the executioner. They know they're gonna die so they're just lashing out and trying to go with as much bravado as they can.

How I'd love for this guy to print all the threats and harassments and turn them over to the COI.

How about a five year Death Penalty...

"I'd have to say, yeah..."

This is why I said in another thread that I just don't believe they'll stop finding creative ways to pay players unless there is no program to pay players to come to. They ARE that arrogant, delusional, and any thought that doesn't line up with the better than the peasants mentality just rocks their world and they can't have that.

Rep points for you, good sir.

It would be a great social experiment for the NCAA to offer ole miss a "hand slap" for the infractions, but if and only if they relinquished Ole Miss and the rebels nickname.

The NCAA is kicking the door of its hinges so the Ole Miss faithful decide harassing one of the NCAA investigators via Facebook is the thing to do. I'm sure this is going to end well.

Yeah, drag up the past of the lead investigator. That'll make things better. Are they actually working on character assassination of witnesses and investigators to lay the groundwork for their rumored lawsuit?

Because discrediting and publicly going after the NCAA investigator is how you avoid sanctions, right?

I assume to them it shows bias towards Ole Miss because the Confederate flag was an Ole Miss symbol.

They're going to get nailed if they fly American flags and sing God Bless America every game though.

I always wondered why the confederates weren't hit real hard when the country was tearing down any confederate statue or symbol across Amerika... Now I know, they are letting the NCAA handle it**** hahaha

There is nothing more Ole Miss than blatantly cheating, then blaming anything and everyone else including the traditions of their best years for them being punished for it. SMH

Why are Ole Miss fans so upset with the guy's feeling regarding the confederate flag? Ole Miss dis-associated itself from the flag years ago. Ole Miss does not even fly the state flag on its campus anymore. Ole Miss and rebels have confederate connotations for sure but the flag is a non issue. You will rarely hear me say anything positive about them, but Ole Miss did the right thing regarding the flag so if anything, they should view the guy's feelings about the flag to be at worse a non issue. They are grasping at straws.

This guy was the compliance officer at LSU while UNM was committing some of their violations. I'm sure he heard a lot of what was going on from the LSU coaches at the time.

Because there is a good percentage of their fan base who agree publicly about those decision but only for PC and image reasons. For no other reason than they think it will help their image. There is another good portion of their fan base abhor that the university has done such things. Not saying there is not a section of the fan base who agree with the administration and have a like mind with them on some of those things, but it's not like if the administration decided to do a 180 on these types of decisions there would not be a significant portion of them applauding that decision to stand up for their beliefs.
