Is it illegal to be drunk at Rick's?

Not only that but apparently it was the sheriffs office, not the Starkville police.

Seems odd. Does this even merit a suspension?

Bonner is reporting that the CL has spoken to the OCSO and they have no record of an arrest.

Joel Coleman says otherwise

Please tell me James didn't threaten to kill everyone at the bar. If he did, someone get him to a soup kitchen on camera telling how much he's changed**

He was probably taken in but cooperated so they sent him home.
That's happened to good friends of mine as well who aren't athletes. Maybe pay a bondsman to get out but not charge them.

You might want to research this one a little more in detail... Your angst should likely be placed on a different outlet.

Who are these asshats trying to make a news story on one of our players? The f*cking Bears have players arrested for just about everything short of 2nd degree murder and all we hear is crickets. We have one accidentally look at an officer wrong and it's a top news story.

I've never understood why Steve and the rest of the bsr guys love bonner so much. Seems like he's trying to make MSU look bad every chance he gets.

just because you receive a citation doesn't mean you get arrested.

Another person with the last name "James" was arrested. That could be causing some confusion maybe? I tried to temper that first post earlier and said that it wasn't sorted out yet and no one even knows if Nick is even in trouble. I think everyone is out of town too. Probably won't know anything until Monday or so when everyone gets back and has a chance to ask questions, but as I said earlier, it's not clear what the charges are, if any. Something probably happened but it doesn't sound that serious.

Ricks? I don't know or heard anything about that but I know for an absolute fact James and Bear were being questioned by police on Maxwell and Nick was driving. I kept walking but I know I saw that

Public intoxication should only be a warning and ride home if no other crime was committed. It's pretty pathetic if anyone got arrested for that.

I know SO has jurisdiction in the county, which includes the city, but it seems odd that it would be the SO that made the arrest.

I see our good friend Sarah Fowler was the first to break it on twitter. Although i can't read her tweets since that skank blocked me for questioning her journalistic abilities.
