Okay, this is ridiculous. We now have the worst gameday locker room in the state. It's past time to update Davis Wade locker room. I have to say I'm impressed with what the buzzards did this off season.

What? The Seal bldg is only a few years old. The locker is still somewhat new. Have you been to our locker room? It has our lighted logo on ceiling & the lockers look very similar to this. Sorry but I'm not seeing much difference here. We can't keep constantly upgrading for just one sport. We have to get the other sports up to par, also.

Now THAT is much better news. That is what needs to happen & is a little overdue.

The poster is referring to the game day locker room at the stadium. Not the practice locker room (although that's where they spend 90% of their time of course).

Okay, thanks. That occurred to me after the fact. I've never seen that one. They only let us ladies into the common area room right before you run out of the tunnel.

Move that sink to the other side and it would be brand new!

It's not that is terrible in there. It's nice wood lockers, etc. But it's small. I honestly have no idea how that whole team gets in there along with coaching staff, equipment staff, etc. And the bulldog murial on the celing is down right awful (if it's still there).

I agree. It's not horrible. It's not super flashy either. But it fits the constraints of the current building.
I don't think we will put any more lipstick on the pig. When it comes time. the M club, jumbotron and all that will be knocked out in favor of a south endzone expansion with a new facility under it. In my opinion.

It's amazing what USM has done with the improvements of polyester. Really looks like real plastic seats now.

This is not too different from where we have the officials get dressed. Seriously.

Our Gameday Lockers and Recruiting Lounge are pathetic. Absolutely Pathetic.

Luckily they have hired Architects to renovate the bottom two floors of the seal bldg, the East Side Concourse, and the East Side Club/Suite area. Going to be brought up to speed with everything else.

Only a few years ago we put visiting teams in a locker room that had 2x4 wood building lockers with a wood peg to hold their helmet. Pretty sure the wood came from scraps at Van Landingham. First time I toured the facility I could not believe how derelict the space was.

I believe you're right about the expansion/video board move/etc. Hope they keep the same board ... the north end zone one looks stretched to me ... not nearly as good as the original one. Probably be a few years before we need an expansion though, unless we started winning some conference championships. And maybe even a natty, or at least be playing for one.

I haven't been in the home locker room in the end zone in many years, but the dark colored, carved wooden lockers were donated in the Jackie Sherrill years. My Mom donated one in memory of my late Dad. I have a picture of myself holding my infant son as we sat in it. He is 15 years old now. Unless it really hurts us in recruiting, I wouldn't see spending mega $ on a remodeling of the entire blg until we bowl in that end of the stadium. I do not recommend metal bleachers!

I guess they wanted to make it nice for their ten fans.
