Are you saying Iowa State is a better program than us? If so, you have them confused with Iowa. We are light years better than Iowa State.

Iowa state has been to 5 straight NCAA tourneys with '14 and '16 being sweet 16. They've won big 12 tourney 2 of the last 3 years

As bad as we are and have been, Iowa State isn't light years ahead of us in basketball.

They are not light-years ahead, but they have definitely had more consistent success they last 5 years.

That's fairly impressive, but still not enough to justify them coming into MS and taking a player we really want. It's not like they are Kansas or UNC.

Depth chart may have played into his decision or we may have wanted him that bad. I don't know, but a HS senior hasn't seen us be good since he was young

I would say we are the better historical program but yeah, if you just want to use the last few years as the measuring stick it would be hard to find many programs that are not better than ours.

Random discovery from 247. Norcross,Ga is a loaded team. I noticed we have 2 4 star targets for 2017 class and Toppin in 2018 is from there as well. He'll probably be a 4 star was well.

We never stopped but there's nothing more the staff can do. It's out of their control.

Saw Feazell at a camp this summer. Was expecting to see him bang and rip off the rim. He wanted to shoot 3's and shy away from contact. His coach didn't utilize his talent or size worth AF.

He definitely needs some good coaching but if he gets it and he listens to them I think he is going to be very good.

Lots and lots of good prospects have come out of Norcross over the last decade. For both football and basketball.

We decided to move on. He is very talented but hadn't played hard all summer. We are all in on Brooks and Weatherspoon.

Thanks for the input there. I have a great feeling on Nick Weatherspoon and as long as we get him we will be okay. I hope we get Brooks but based on reading all of the boards looks like that decision is out of our hands. Hopefully, Garrison will understand that of all of the teams that he is interested in Howland is the best one to get him to the next level. None of the other coaches that he is high on has the track record of Coach Howland.
