mcgregor had a great game plan and won the fight but nate diaz is a ****ing beast. refuses to quit even when most prolly would have and taken the check. dude has the chin and heart of a champion.

best fight I've ever seen live. whatever they got paid it wasn't enough. I hope those guys appreciate each other after tonight - mutual respect is due.

Nate Diaz has one of the best chins I've ever seen. That dude can take a lick. I was really disappointed in his post fight interview. He did nothing but make excuses and say he has video that proves he hurt before the fight. Come on dude, you just finished one of the best fights in history of mma and I agree it could have gone either way. But don't say you were hurt, that's pathetic.

agree. I really wanted them both to be humble and acknowledge each others performance. either guy could have quit I thought conner was done in 2nd round. no need to make excuses and all that - no shame in losing that fight how it was. early knockdowns cost diaz. and connor fought a smart fight especially the first round

and again your right - diaz chin is best in the sport imo. you can't knock him out. 99.9% of guys in the ufc at any weight would succumb to those cleans shots my conner.

it will be a long time before u see a fight like that again. no dull boring stretches of no exchanging. long post - cos I'm still pretty jacked about how epic that match was
