First 6 games include 5 P5 teams who went bowling last year, and FPI (link (http://www.espn.com/college-football/team/fpi-id=252&year=2016)) gives them no better than a 38% chance to win in any of their first 6 other than Toledo, and it's worth mentioning that Toledo was 10-2 last year.
Looks like the most likely scenario is that BYU is 1-5 or maybe 2-4 when we play them. I'm not sure if ESPN FPI figures in the impact of a new coach and a QB returning from back-to-back season-ending injuries, but I think people here are way too scared of this game. Their athletic department set up this schedule to give them a resume to appeal to the Playoff Committee, but it's a whole lot more likely that the Cougars are super demoralized when we roll into Provo and don't even end up in a bowl.
If your next comment is "yeah, their schedule looks tough, but BYU is always a good team," that's not really true either. Here's BYU's last 11 years, which were coached by Bronco Mendenhall:

They haven't finished ranked in the AP Poll since 2009, and lately only make bowls because they're Independent and load up on a bunch of non-P5 and bad teams. Last year they couldn't even beat that awful Mizzou team we smashed. And now they have a new coach.
