This renovation is going to be great, but I will miss the Left field Lounge atmosphere.

Provided by Daktronics, the upgrade will give the Diamond Dawgs a digital space that is larger than that of three Major League Baseball clubs

This renovation is going to be great, but I will miss the Left field Lounge atmosphere.

I don't think the atmosphere will change at all. If anything I think it will be a better atmosphere all around.

That's great news. I never really doubted the outcome, just the timeframe of the project. Just makes it seem real and coming soon. I realize the condos are still not a sure thing.

I heard Strictland speak this week. The grandstand comes down just as soon as the season is over. Utilities are already being relocated so they can start right after the last game.

So we will have the biggest video board in college baseball that we can only show certain replays on. I guess things will be easier to read and ads will be easier to see.***

Seriously though, looks great. Still wish they would have gone with manual score changes.

Looks like we'll have the same sun-on-the-scoreboard problems we've always had since it faces the west

As do I. I'm excited to see what the new LFL will look like.
