Not a great look by paps requesting release. He wanted out of philly bc they were losing and now wants out of a winner bc he's not closing

If no one picks him up, will Washington still have to pay him the remainder of his $11 mil salary? I hope Paps knows what he is doing.

I read something about he needed to go somewhere he would pitch because at Washington he wasn't getting appearances. It is going to be interesting if he gets picked up. He has that crazy closer mentality but he doesn't have overpowering stuff any more. He just knows how to pitch. He might be done.

Washington picked up another closer and Paps had a terrible July although he has 19 saves. His era is 4.27 I think. Article on MSN said if he is picked up Washington has to pay the remainder of his $11 mil salary. What if he is not picked up? No $ ?
