Jeremy Johnson didn't practice, a freshman receiver is out for the year with a knee injury, a DL decided to quit and pursue politics,...

It's not sounding good for Malzahn. This sounds like code for he is losing or has lost control of the team.

This is what happens when the players own you. It may work for a little while as you're buying talent but eventually the inmates run the asylum. Mullen may have some faults but letting the players run the show is not one of them.

They will get boatraced a lot. Malzahn can't handle players, hence a program, as they get older. Last place finish in west ahead.

But hope we don't take Auburn lightly. We did in 2011 when Auburn came out fired up, we weren't, and we paid the price for it.

I don't think we've ever taken them lightly. Just because we may have played poorly & lost doesn't mean we took them lightly

The over/under on total AU wins is down to 7... and that still looks sketchy...

Arkie State, ULM, Vandy & ULM are 4 wins that should be considered automatic...

Clemson, LSU, @UGA & @Bammer are almost certain losses...

That means they gotta go 3-1 vs: A&M, @MSU, Arkie & @OM.

I'm gonna go with "under".

I'll add that this also makes them dangerous... while they lack continuity, unity, structure, etc, they do have really good talent, and Gus will be coaching for his job in those games....

I cant believe Lawson and Adams returned for this year. If those two had left, they have a losing season.

Not disputing that there are problems...but Jeremy Johnson not practicing is in no way bad news for them.

Lawson almost had to return. Has to prove to NFL GM's that he can stay healthy. There were serious concerns about him ever being able to play football again at one point last season.

Its White if they dont want a losing season. Also I saw where the awarded 7 walk-ons scholarships today, seems like a lot for a team that was playing for the natty a few years ago.

Sorry about that. I forgot to post a link. Malzahn says that the energy at practice is good but his personal energy is terrible. Maybe it's just the heat but he doesn't exude confidence and his body language says that there is more going on that he's not saying. If this is the entire prepared part of the press conference then he is really holding everything close to the sweat vest.
