Washington State is there also, I believe. I think the team we played today is a team put together solely to play NCAA teams when they come over.

How are those teams fairing vs the teams we've played in comparison? Or have we played any of the same teams? Just curious

The Missouri basketball team continued its winning ways abroad Tuesday, scoring a 92-78 victory over Lithuanian pro team BC Silute in Montecatini Terme, Italy.

Sophomore guard Cullen VanLeer dominated, scoring a team-high 26 points. The Pacific High School graduate was 8 for 12 from the field and 6 of 10 on 3-pointers.

Kevin Puryear scored 16 points and was 8 of 16 on field goals. He grabbed four rebounds and had two blocks.

Two other Tigers made it to double figures. Russell Woods scored 11 points and had six rebounds. Freshman Willie Jackson, who scored 18 against LCC International University on Sunday, had 11 points and 10 rebounds Tuesday. Six of those rebounds were on the offensive glass.

Freshman Frankie Hughes, who also scored 18 on Sunday, was 2 of 8 from the field and had seven points. Terrence Phillips had six points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and six steals.

Missouri got out to a six-point halftime lead, but Silute responded with 31 points in the third quarter to tie the game. The Lithuanian squad hit 15 of 36 3-pointers and was 9 of 10 from the foul line.

The Tigers dominated the fourth quarter, however, outscoring BC 20-6 to close out the game.

Missouri will play its third of four games at 1:30 p.m. Friday against Vicenza Select, an Italian pro team.
