Who is he and where did he come from?

He ran the Rivals MSU site, Bulldog Blitz for about 5 years, but stepped down about a month ago.

Good deal, now when he writes something remotely not 100% positively rosy about MSU there won't be threads linked all over to it and how he is a secret Ole Miss or other school fan. Take a guy like Veazey and I am not convinced that he would watch College Football if he could get a political coverage opportunity. But tons of people hated him because of his Ole Miss ties.

Veazey is actually the only one who is willing to investigate OM.

Oh yes, they will. Doesn't matter if it makes no sense, they'll say it.

VZ is a Vandy fan, I believe.

I wouldn't expect Lowery to be all sunshine and roses, but at least we won't get the slanted, pro-OM angle every morning with our cup of coffee.

For most of the fanbase, including myself, if a guy like Logan Lowery says something in a negative light about the program it will be much more believable and will carry more weight because of the fact that I know he is generally fond of MSU and has no hidden agenda against MSU.

St. Louis Cardinals

Murray State

In that order, if I am not mistaken.

Veazy went to both State and OM I'm pretty sure. Marcello was from Arkansas. I thought Veazy was great.

Veazey married an MSU girl but I don't think he ever went to MSU.

Vz- born a vandy "fan", went to UM. I never found evidence in his writing to support a bias, however. Although when he first started he had an air of faux superiority often associated with Ole Miss.

Love this hire compared to the fact Brandon Speck could have been our beat writer. Anybody besides him is good with me.

Looked him up on LinkedIn. I misremembered. He went to Murray State before transferring to OM. I knew he was an OM grad, but I never thought he was biased. I really appreciated "Champions for Change," too.

Champions for Change was one of the best books I've read in a LONG time. And yes, the Caps Lock was warranted for this. If you haven't read this book yet, please do so. Not only will you appreciate the writing, but it will give you a background story on something that we as Mississippi State fans should be proud that we took part in.
