I'm ready for him to be ready for MLB now. Leake and Garcia are average and Wacha hasn't been good at all this year.

I would think he would start at High A again next year with possibility of moving up quickly next year. Florida State League is a notorious pitchers league.

Possibly. It will likely either be Palm Beach or Springfield. It just all depends on how he performs. It's good to see the Cardinals actually move a player up through the system quickly for once.

This has been the plan all along. Take it slow because of innings and the jump was big as far as levels go, but he didn't even have to leave clubhouses. Gulf Coast league is played on our main Major League Practice fields. He's had the luxury of being around the pitching rovers and development guys the whole time while taking it easy.

The Cardinals could have a glut of starting pitchers next year. Wainwright, Martinez, Wacha, Leake, Garcia, Lynn, and I've heard Rosenthal will possibly start. We need to move some of those guys in trades so that we can have a rotation of Wainwright, Reyes, Martinez, Weaver, and Hudson by 2019.
