Can't be coach speak. Media has seen these cats play.

Either we have 4 starters on the roster or we are about to struggle mightily.

Media hasn't seen anything after the first two days....lets have a live scrimmage then worry about it.

100% Coachspeak. Mullen Can't say ANYTHING different than that to the public right now. Gotta have all 4 still engaged!

Might want to wait just another day or two.

The last thing anyone should worry about is qb. Mullen won 5 with Tyson Lee who was a walk-on with croom.

Y'all worried about QBs need to relax. I still can't believe Joel T Coleman stoked the fire with the transfer talk and can't believe Mullen elaborated so much in it.

The QBs will be battling for a few weeks and Mullen might not name the started until the week of the opener. We will be fine either way.

Forgive me for not getting in the fetal position over a position Mullen has shown he can get production from.

Per Steve R, after Wednesday the press has not been at practice.

Not even a week on the farm. It will be fine barring the eventual leader getting hurt.

Fitz will start in 2016. He will be a faster and better read option QB than Dak. Yes..I said it. He may not be the passer Dak was in 2014-15 but Fitz will get there under Mullen.

Clint Stoerner watched practice in the spring. He tried to be nice about it but plainly said "just because a starter hasnt been named doesn't mean everyone is in the race", in his eyes they are not all in the running. There are two, he thinks in the end it's Fitz.

Mullen stated that during installation, all QBs are practicing with 1st, 2nd and 3rd string players. He stated as for instance...in three of six plays, some of the freshman went the wrong way. No way to evaluate right now. After installation, he will start evaluating QBs when complete 1st and 2nd string players play as a unit.

Another thing fans need to realize the 2 practices the media did see they only got to watch 15-20min of it. They saw no 11 on 11 or even 7 on 7. That's why it's always funny when fans go crazy over depth charts or starters the media provides when they get to watch about 10% of practice.

Who is this Stoerner cat that you speak of? I like the "mystery" around who will be qb, but I don't think the answer will surprise much of anybody. I got a hint for ya, it will be the kid from GA. I'm not gonna specify which one. (jk about stoerner).

I think it plays out that Fitz starts, Staley transfers to a juco, Damien and Tiano get some plays here and there until LSU hurts Fitz.

4 star QB comes in at Christmas- Damien transfers to Jackson State to start and work on his Master's.

Media can't tell who's ahead. Half of that in decided is the meeting rooms behind closed doors. Same with fans. Well all see EJ's Cam Netwon arm and want him on the field without knowing who has the best grasp of the offense, which is likely Williams. Tiano has "it," whatever the hell it is. Then there's Fitz who is likely the 2nd best athlete and 2nd best grasp of the offense, etc...

Let em' battle.

I'm really not too concerned. Sure it's a vital issue, but CDM could be the premier college QB developer in the entire NCAA.

If we're going to wring hands over something, it should be the O-Line and running backs.

This probably the 15th of what will surely be 200+ threads on who will start at qb. It's been 2 practices and our fans are getting upset over what the media think? If the media could truly evaluate talent and all the nonquatifiables that go into the position, they would be making $4,000,000 a year coaching football. They are not.

We are about to struggle mightily? Jeez.

I kid a lot stating Staley is the man. However, I think it's Fitz. He brings a speed element at Qb Mullen has never had.

Fitz can be a better runner than Prescott. He also has a great arm. We'll see what kind of leadership and decision-making he brings

not worried about QB ... I saw enough last year to completely ignore some media types prognostication about who will be the man .... now RB is a different story - I want to hear something about who is getting the lions share of first team reps (probably Williams but I would like to know who is pushing him)

Did you forget to add sarcasterix or assume they weren't necessary? Because I can't believe this is a serious post.
