The United States Women's National Team just kicked off our Olympics the right way with a 2-0 win over New Zealand today. Carli Lloyd scored the first goal, then Alex Morgan scored the final goal for the USWNT squad.

Also, figured this would be a good time to start up an Olympics thread.

The ocean, including areas being used for swimming and sailing is nothing but an open sewer and crime is a real issue. Many facilities have issues. Noticed the BB team and its NBA players are staying on a luxury cruise ship offshore. Almost forgot the Zika virus and a government and an economy about to collapse. I hope our athletes especially MSU do well, but it took guts to even go and compete. I lost interest in the games about 20 yrs ago (showing my age I guess).
