This may have been answered already so sorry if I missed it but I saw a picture yesterday of the Hump with the subfloor put in. Does anyone have a picture of what the new floor design will look like?

How old was the old floor? Time flies but I remember being at the Hump and they were putting down a new floor. Doesn't seem that long ago.

I hope they used a little brighter wood this time. The place looks like the lights are in emergency mode on ESPN and North Carolina looks like they can perform surgery on their court. Additional lighting would help as well.

Said the old one was a culprit for so many injuries our team experienced. Installing a more forgiving floor.

Interesting article:

I want to say like 15 years old maybe. Could be wrong though

Yea that's the picture I saw yesterday. Is that how light the wood is going to be? Obviously they have to wax and whatever else they do to it but that's pretty light

It's not the wood, and the Hump used to be MUCH darker. They brightened it up quite a bit about 3-4 years ago. I actually prefer it darker, gives it a better atmosphere. Or at least darken the stands more. The lights over the court should be at a much different level than elsewhere. There's not any contrast between the court and the seats.
