That was discussed in depth at the last Huddle House meeting. He is now coaching in Samoa. I know, I shouldn't have leaked that but darn it! The people have a right to know!

I don't see how this is something that even could be kept secret for very long at all. The man has to be announced as a coach at some point...even if it is just to the coworkers, players & parents at the school.

Surely any UNM fan who was determined to find out would be able to, as C34's real name has been known for some time. Once that fan knows, surely the rest would know soon enough.

I suspect we're not hearing anything simply because it was part-of-the-deal in getting this job...that there would be no more open participation on ED or mention on this board of where he went.

The point is...I don't think there is anything "secret" this board could reveal that would harm him, unless it was something that pointed to him being a poster under another name. Nobody here is going to do that, and I bet Lee is not going to even think about doing that any time soon.

Maybe....just maybe if we were trumpeting his successful landing somewhere and, "poking UNM fans in-the-eye" about it, it might cause some of the nuttier ones to devote extra time attacking him, but the idea that we could somehow, "blow his cover" as a coach seems ludicrous. It's not like he's gonna change his name in order to get a job coaching high-school football.

Personally, I hope like hell that Lee landed a job at a place like SHS where he could counteract the BS going on there. But I'll be glad to hopefully learn some day that he got back into the job he loves....coaching, and that it helps him be with his kids more, wherever that job is.

I have to say, its pretty impressive to land a job at Panola and then turn around to land a 4A OC job. All after being out of the game for a decade. I wish him luck and GTHOM

3. Anybody who cares about MSU football and how certain high schools are funneling recruits to certain schools is going to wonder if C34 is going to be in a position to help.

If C34 did indeed get a coaching job, and part of the agreement was for him to step away from posting on this board...then his employer already knows about this, and is satisfied with Lee's commitment. That's just silly. The ones that want to do him harm are not waiting for us to, "spill-the-beans". They are most likely checking in to see if Lee posts again, because that is how they would possibly get him...not by finding out who hired him. His hiring will be a matter of public record, not some top-secret info. As long as Lee honors his commitment, I believe he'll be fine regardless of what the UNM looney-tunes try to do.
