Weekend Cooking & Drinking Thread

It's hot as hell out there! Expect nothing of interest from me this weekend. Vacation starts next weekend for me.

Went fishin at the Bay Harbor the last two nights and caught enough white trout for a lifetime. Going to save them for when it's cooler and do a big fish fry. At the Hollywood Casino tonight for the crab legs. I usually eat enough to put me into a coma until some time around lunch tomorrow.

That's awesome. Nothing wrong with white trout. I love catching and eating them. Hell, I freeze them regularly.

Per Starkvegasdogs advice about a new whole sale meat store in town I went buy and had some ribeyes cut 1 1/2" thick. They are in the fridge to marinade now, plan to put them on the grill around 6. Maybe I can get some pics posted

Spent most of the day with my least favorite thing - back to school shopping. We had "lupper" at our local hole in the wall mex place.

As a reward for putting up with the mall, I picked up a 6 of Sierra Nevada Sumerfest. Damn good beer. Wish it was around all year.

Spend the week in Destin. Took a charter out Thursday and the fish just didn't cooperate. We ended up with a King Makeral and a Spanish Makeral. Trigger fish were out of season but caught one that we had to let go. Took my fiances little brother and his buddy. Had a blast and will be going back next chance I get.
