Enjoyed winning for the 1st time in my MSU life with Coach Bob Tyler until an unjust probation and forfeit of far too many games. Jackie brought hope and taught us we could win from Day 1. I sat ahead in the 4th quarter in Atlanta for a SEC title due to Jackie and our success. The success of both brought underhanded pressure from UNM who couldn't handle our success at the time. I still think we need a statue of Jackie outside DWS. OM hated when he referred to them as "Mississippi", much like Dan's early years with TSUN. The bar was raised by all three. I expect 8 to 10 victories yearly now, but one still needs to be UNM quite regularly.
