Pardon me if I'm amused by a fan/writer that has been completely fed, linguistic Mumbo Jumbo by the Ole Miss administration being so naive that they would write a serious article about how important words are. These people have absolutely ZERO interest in knowing the truth. When you have that trait as a university, it should come as absolutely no surprise when you hire people that blatantly lie to you.
The Ole Miss fan base reminds me of how a 3-8 year old child sees their parents. They see no fault, have no desire to know who their parents really are and what they stand for, have blind pride in everything their parents do, and accept any and every explanation that their parents offer. It's immaturity at the highest of levels.
