True. I stopped taking that paper 10 years ago. Not only is the sports reporting poor. The local and state reporting leave a lot to be desired as well.

They suck because they're not local. They're a subsidiary of a national chain of newspapers and other companies know as the Gannett corporation. They should have been run out of this state a long time ago.

It would be great if he could or would come out and speak about it now and let the rest of the world know how they operate. He should hook up with Pat Forde, Dan Wolken or Pete Thamel and tell the rest of his story.
