Looks like the Rebs are going to stay in the news right up to media days.

Apologies if already posted.

If Tunsil got this, I wonder what Kelly, the Nkemdiches, and Treadwell received? What about the little guys in all the other positions? Surely they received a few thousand for their troubles. NO WAY it was only Tunsil.

It was a mistake that's clearly good news.

Nope, The Clarion-Ledger asked every current and former Rebel and they all said they received no extra benefits. Show's over. We can all go home.

Kids like Treadwell and Nkemdiche, Patterson, Conner, and Little, five-star talents with multiple national offers and everything that comes with that, are not coming to Oxford because the campus is pretty. They aren't going there because of a brother, or a friend, or a girl, or anything like that. That's what the Rebel fan base expects everyone to believe, but hell, they don't believe it themselves. At least, most of them don't. They just don't want to deal with the fact that their messiah is actually a false prophet.

The worse thing that could happen for that bunch - one that prides itself on controlling the media - was what happened on draft night. Now it's a national story and they can't control it anymore. Oh, and they don't believe the stories either. They're going to keep digging.

All Ole Miss has now is an agenda to discredit the messengers. That's all they have, because facts aren't on their side. Decent Ole Miss fans (and there are a couple) should move to demand transparency - and to stop being lied to by their administration.

It's like Christmas right now.

I don't know, there is an alarmingly high percentage of the true Reb fans that believe Oxford and the Grove is God's gift to the World and that every recruit no matter how far away is dying to get there.

This is the knock out punch "financial assistance from Ole Miss coaches and boosters." That will be the fall of Gods favor on OM
