Great, I hope he has a ten year or better career in the bigs. I could become a Pirates fan again, loved them with Stargell, Dave Parker, Omar Mareno and they had a good third baseman too can't remember his name.

I just went and googled the video and it's real cool. According to the announcers it was a helluva at bat so he must have fought off some good pitches . Against a lefty to boot. The only thing it shows is him driving the ball over the pitchers head into center. Well hit ball, nice swing. They were saying how much pirate fans were going to love him. Then showed the bat boy getting the ball secured in the dugout for Adam. Crowd noise indicated the fans knew it was his first MLB at bat.

Fitting first hit for him. I had my doubts about if he would ever make it to the big leagues when he got drafted, he obviously proved me wrong pretty quickly.
