Verbal commits shows us with 11 outstanding offers and no commits. When should we expect to hear anything on the class of 17?

I'd also like to ask to the basketball insiders for the 2018 class would we take Woodard, Marshall and Barber since they are all 3 technically small forwards? I know it's very early so may not can answer but that's even if all 3 wanted to come to state.

Right now I know everyone expects us to sign Nick Weatherspoon and coach Brooks son. If we take one more for the 2016 class we will only have 2 spots for the 2017 class I believe. Unless we decided to keep that scholly and take 3 in 2017.

I don't expect us to sign George Brook's son. We have players higher on our board. I will leave it at that.

Does this count if Q leaves early? Q played last year like I expected Malik to perform. If Malik had the season Q had then he might have been 1 and done.

We plan on taking at least 3 for 2017. Nick Weatherspoon is the #1 target after that we'll wait & see. I do think Keyshawn Feazell is apart of this class also. Then we'll see.

Woodard has the skill set to play the 2 or the 3. Marshall is a 3 but needs to improve on his shooting range. He's one of the most athletic players to come out of MS but need his skill to catch up to his athleticism. Barber is the biggest question mark to me because he's only 6'7" but he's better suited as a 4. There's no way he could play the 3 in college doesn't have the foot speed. I want to see more out of him before I say he's a must have. I take Woodard & Marshall right now because they have skills that translate to the college game day 1.

If Q left that would open up another spot.

Yea those are the 2 I liked the most too. Didn't know much about Barber.

Feazell looks talented on tape do you think he ends up a high 3 or low to mid 4 star?

I think he's a low to mid 4*. I think he's a Top 100 player.

I don't follow basketball recruiting as much as baseball or football, but holy shit!! That Weatherspoon guy is freaking savage on the basketball court.

Yeah, he is way underrated too. IMO, he is probably one of the top two point guards in 2017. He is an absolute must get in this class.

I wouldn't say Top 2 but Top 5 Top 10 most definitely.

Give Brooks a $30k a year raise and tell his son to walk on.

We can still give Brooks that raise but I don't think we'll see Garrison here.
