We obviously know what Fred Ross can do he will be big for us this year. Who do yall see stepping up and having success other than him? I think Donald Gray could have a big year as well as Gabe Myles(obvious choices). What about Jesse Jackson? Who do yall see being the Wilson type of player a more physical type of WR? Do any of the younger guys get an opportunity to contribute?

Mixon will contribute

Fred Ross, Donald Gray, & Malik Dear will be 1 of the better starting WR groups in the SEC.

I think Gabe Miles will come back to life.

I like Gabe too. He seems to have another gear and gets to top speed quick.

What about Deddrick Thomas? He showed some flashes in the spring.

I think Malik Deer will be an outstanding WR for us. He was one of those guys that had a chance to make a huge play every time he got the ball last year.

I'll go with Mixon or Spivey

I think Jesse Jackson can at least be like a Fred Brown. Make some nice catches and contribute in other ways like downfield blocking. It seems like some people have given up on Jesse because he wasn't an instant impact player even though he was rated highly. He tore up his knee his senior year at Petal and that may still be affecting him but I liked what little I saw in the spring from him.

I hope we throw a lot in the first game, we need that passing game to gel early. I still shake my head when I think about the De'Runnya Wilson fiasco.

The WR core is the Last thing we need to worry about this year. They will be some of the best top to bottom...

So you think Ross is moving to the outside so that Malik starts?

with this group I think you will see different WR's outside and inside all the time..

I hope so. I want the defense's personnel to decide who lines up where

Mixon is going to be electric
Thomas would have not redshirted last year if not for Dear
If Jackson stays healthy he will be a soild sec WR

I wouldnt be surprised to see someone else get starts based on his blocking. If any of the new guys can block like Bear then they're going to play. Think Joe Morrow.

Any chance we see more 2-te sets?

If we don't find an OL to block, a QB to throw, and a RB to keep the defense honest it won't matter who we have at receiver. Just sayin'

4 playmaking capable WR's with experience is near the top of the SEC.

That is absolutely a good group. Depth is our concern

True , but past the first 4 or 5 WR for any team who really plays a key role ?
There might some catches here and there, but your 6th WR isn't going to play a vital role for your offense.
If we didn't have Ross , or if he goes down to an injury then yes the WR core looks much different and becomes more of a concern..
