Wish we had gone ahead and had surgery once it was apparent Luke couldn't play through the injury.

Piece of broken bone will be removed. Tried to play, but often had numbness in fingers from the injury.

He could have played through it- just not well overall. We delayed it in case one of our other MIF or Collins went down. And remember Stovall broke his leg around that time too- roughly. At one point all we had was Holland, Gridley, and Collins that were healthy.
