Yesterday's post was about the most painful MSU losses of all time. Let's cheer ourselves up and talk about the most enjoyable wins of all time. There are a lot of them! Here's my list to get it started:

10) 2010 Football win at University of Florida - that was a validation statement! Winning at Florida had been a pipe dream for about 20 years...
9) 1999 Egg Bowl - Tip, Kick and Pick, baby!!!! Scott field was rocking.
8) 1998 Football win over #9 Arkansas, 22-21 - on our way to winning the SEC West
7) 1991 Egg Bowl - first time the Egg Bowl was back on campus in nearly 20 years. Was great to see Sherrill stick it to Brewer. It felt so good to be a Bulldog.
6) 1996 MBB - Elite 8 win over Cincinnati. Huge win to get into the Final 4!!!
5) 1996 MBB - SEC Tournament win over Kentucky - smacked them good down in New Orleans. Maybe illogical to have this above #6 - but I was at this game, and it was awesome!
4) 1991 MBB win over LSU to win the SEC - the fact that Shaq was hurt and didn't play did not dampen the excitement of rushing the court. Pure adrenaline
3) 1990 Baseball Regional win over Florida State. Who can forget Jim Ellis's call of Burke Masters' 9th inning grand slam.
2) 1997 Baseball Regional win over Washington. You probably think this is overrated. But I was there with my dad and brother. DuBose gutted out the win on a hot, packed Dudy Noble, Memorial Day.
1) 1980 Football - MSU 6, BAMA 3. This Win is in our Bulldog Fans' DNA. I hope it is still inscribed on the sidewalk on campus, so current students can see it.

What say you, fellow Bulldogs?

I was there when we beat the Bear. I remember riding on the hood of a car to MacArthur dorm after the Emory Ballard show came on local TV on Sunday night.

The total package of Gameday, packed house, packed Junction, #2 vs #3, beating Auburn (who I loath...), and waking up Sunday in a drunken daze to see we were ranked #1 in the nation beats everything else for me. Regardless of how the season ended, I still look back at that entire weekend as one of the most fun I've ever had being a State fan.

2014 football vs Auburn
2014 football vs LSU
2009 football vs Georgia
2007 football vs Alabama
2006 football vs Alabama
2000 football vs Florida
1992 football vs Florida

All of mine are football because we are generally the underdog.

I was the 1st one on the field at the 6-3 deal. Could have kicked the bamer DLine guy in the ass while he was still going for the ball. They didn't know the game was over cuz the line judge saw the nose guard slap it out of Kent's hand before he could snap it.

Glad I didn't kick the bamer player in the ass though. My little ass may not be here to tell the story.

I swung from the north endzone goalpost as it came down after '96 Bama - that was a helluva out of nowhere win.

'10 at UF was great, because I was on the 50 right behind the UF bench.

But, '14 beat bith - mainly because of getting to share it with two of my best friends and my son (his first on campus game)

1980 MSU v Bama. Always and forever. My Dad (MSU grad '69) told me a story that he was at an LSU game that same weekend visiting some LSU buddies. At halftime they announced the score. Miss State 6 (all the LSU fans cried, "Awwwwww...) Alabama 3. Dad said that stadium went apeshit crazy. All his LSU buddies were lifting him up and all the other fans were slapping him on the back because they knew he was a State fan at the LSU game. Dad's response: "I'm in the wrong goddamm stadium"

How did I forget AU '99. Awesome come back plus Tubb's first season on the plains. Different team, still getting his ass whipped by State.

2014 Auburn for me. As the final seconds ticked off the clock, I stood in Davis Wade, soaked from head to toe due the rain storm, with pure joy. I've never been so proud to be a bulldog.

I think our CWS win over Oregon State in 2013 that sent us to the National Championship finals has to be in the top 10. I'll never forget Hunter Renfroe's home run and salute to the crowd. When it happened all of the MSU fans around me went nuts! Just pure elation! Kendall Graveman was brilliant too.

Smoke Burns hitting two free throws with no time on the clock forcing overtime which we later won. I think three over times. Smoke was about. 50% free throw shooter

Two reasons:

1. Opponents
2. Any victory was sweeter in the Croom era.

I can't put them in order so just going to list.

The LSU, A&M, and Auburn stretch to #1

Renfroe Salute game at the CWS

Whitley strip of Bo Wallace in the Egg Bowl

Clemson Super Regional

Pegues Punt Return Egg Bowl.

That's the first that came to mind.

Agree. Don't think there can be a better feeling for a state fan than that game. Soaking wet, hoarse, and pumped as hell.

I went to second Oregon State game in Omaha and that feeling to watch us win and go to CWS finals is up there as well.

Not even sure which decade, but Don Smith down the sideline to beat Tennessee. Also, the win over Texas when Jackie first got here. The amazing comeback vs. LSU in the mid to late 90's. The 1982 homecoming win vs. Miami. 19-14 over Ole Miss in the early 1970's. Plus those already mentioned.

Don't tell me that we have no tradition . . .
