I take MSU baseball way too seriously, just like many of you. But I'm not going to allow myself to get pissed off about this anymore.

- We were a national seed, got to host 2 events in Starkville, and won a long elusive goal of the SEC regular season
- We are putting a lot of guys in the minors
- Polk stank is starting to subside, and the stadium is well on its way for 2018, fans now realize 2015 was an abberration
- We have a core group of freshmen that will probably be pretty good as sophomores, I expect a high 2 seed or a host next year
- Those freshmen, I believe, will get us back to the type of ball that wins championships, 2018 could be the year
- The group functioning as upper class next year (Rigby, Gridley, Rooker and Kruger (maybe), Smith, Tatum) aren't bad either
- Recrootin is as good as it's ever been
- Becoming obvious that Bianco is good but not great when he doesn't have a McDonnell or Godwin, and we're passing them again

What I've noticed is that if you want to break through, you have to get there several years first. You don't just pop in on Omaha once every 8 years and win a title. I think we've finally put together a group of recrootin classes that can challenge for a few years in a row.

Carry on, win or lose tonight, I'm not going off the deep end.

It's baseball. And this series is a LONG way from over.

You're right. I'm just prepping myself by putting this out there in writing. ED therapy.

The good thing is, it's all true.

I thought Viagra was the therapy for that?

I do really like the young arms we have compiled for next year. They need some good work this summer

My thoughts exactly.

We rebounded nicely from last year. Sec champs....they can't take that away. The future looks bright .

Good season regardless of the outcome tonight.

Great post and I agree with all of it even after the huge disappointment of tonight. We very good and getting better!
