Because most pitchers can't locate it like Dalbec did tonight. He looked liked 17ing Chris Carpenter out there.

Tomorrow's a new day & likely against a pitcher that won't have elite command of his secondary pitches

Most were change ups tonight....got to be patient at the plate tomorrow. We won 9 of 10 SEC series this year...we can do this but we've got to be more patient at the plate. Finding some holes wouldn't hurt either.

Patient? you gottaa be kidding. Any more patience would mean lots of 0-3 counts with the bat never leaving the shouder. That mann was high % strikes today and we watched our share of them go by.

Good Point 59...need to swing at more 1st strikes but be patient and not hit the what's thrown in the dirt try and be patient on the changes.

Yes. I am a big proponent of "if you get your pitch" you better be smoking it cause you might not see it again that at bat. I don't care what the count. But damn sure don't be swinging at crap pitches early in the count to put you behind. Just be disciplined at the plate and not over anxious
