Draft prospects list does not include Robson, Collins, or Lowe. Not sure if it matters or not but I would think some of the guys we think we are losing to the draft are not actually locks to leave

I've always thought Robson arm was to weak to play in MLB, Collins really doesn't have a position other than DH, Lowe I thought would be a pretty good prospect. I'm not knocking any of them, they're all great players and I hope they do well in pro ball,just my simple observations of their prospects in pro ball. I selfishly hope they stay one more year, and give us some more great memories!

Well let's see. 32 teams (I think) X 30 rounds(I think) = 960 draftees. Hopefully our guys won't like being drafted in the bottom 400 or so.

You've also got some supplemental rounds and whatnot, so it probably comes out to something like 1400 players drafted.

If we can get Robson, Lowe, and Rooker back, we will be in great shape next year. We are going to get a great JUCO power third baseman to replace Collins and I think we will have several freshman pitchers step up next year such as Small, Cyr, and Padgett with Pilk continuing to improve. I think our pitching will be fine. I think we could have a great year next year as well.

I don't think Rooker goes as a red shirt sophomore. He has a heck of a lot of leverage and will be poised to have a big year next year as an every day starter in the outfield.
