Wasn't he covering the LSU regional? It sounded like him as the color guy. I, too, enjoy his insight and he generally seems to try and stay neutral even though he went to LSU.

The play by play guy for the LSU regional was almost unbearable to listen to.... not sure if anyone else has the same opinion but between him and the SS's mom - watching their games is almost unbearable.

Yes, he was doing color for the LSU regional. He has great insight and does a great job of not being a homer. The play-by-play guy really grated on my nerves too. I don't think he was necessarily a bad announcer, but his voice really irritated me.

I've always like McDonald. Think he does a good job. And even though he went to LSU I think he's pretty fond of state and Dudy Noble. I may be in the minornity, but I also think Kyle Peterson does a good job.

I'm in complete agreement! I've grown weary of the mulkey robertson show! Doubtful that Espn finds a new angle for the supers though. I'm sure we will get several in depth interviews with mama too!

Haha, it got so bad i was actually listening for his awful sayings. I missed one because my wife started talking and i had to shush her, that went over well! It started off with "This game is tighter than the top string of a...." that's all i heard
