This is how the opportunity fund works. Following the tragedy at vandy last week, vandy submitted paperwork to pay all funeral costs for the Everett family, and it was accepted by the league. Just that quick and easy. 6 weeks later crickets about opportunity fund in Oxford.

As far as OM goes- there is nothing to investigate. Either they had the paperwork there in the SEC office at 8am the morning after the draft when the NCAA asked for it- or they didnt.

I heard they were paying for the funeral yesterday. It is a great move by them. Funerals are unholy expensive and anything they can do to take a burden off the grieving family is greatly appreciated.

As for TSUN, we knew they were blowing smoke when they even attempted to try and use that as an excuse. What pisses me off is that nobody has pressed them on that since then to provide that paperwork that they say exists. Even all lying douche bag Alford could say was he was told the paperwork existed but hadn't seen it. He certainly wasn't going to press the issue because deep down he knows it's all BS. He just wanted that one little blurb to settle the bleating sheep down and it did. They calmed down and went back to being the arrogant obstinate assholes we all have come to know and despise.

Only a damn idiot would think the opportunity fund would cover momma's power bill and/ or rent. Most unbelievable thing the OM pundits like Parrish Alford could put out there.
