The Dunlap, Tenn., native put together a prolific May, finishing with a 3-1 record and a 0.86 ERA over a total of 31.1 innings pitched. The righty tossed back-to-back complete game shutouts in final two weekends to lead MSU to its first SEC Championship since 1989.
In his 31.1 innings of work, Hudson allowed just 27 hits and walked only four batters while striking out 33. His three victories were key in the Bulldogs capturing three-straight sweeps to end the regular season, a feat accomplished for the first time since 1989.
