For those needing accommodations: The old Regal Inn --- now a Red Roof --- has been renovated and has rooms for the weekend at $109 / night. It ain't glamorous, but it is a place to crash. Late night pizza at Dave's is just a stumble away.

I'm unable to go this weekend. Just cancelled my rooms at Microtel

Appears to be not as bad as football weekends ... about a third the price.

I stayed there 1 night during this past football season, and they were in the midst of renovating. I think I only paid $100 for the room. No 2-night minimums, either. It was a dump back when I was in school and wasn't much better last October.

<shivers> The only saving grace for staying there would be the Dark Horse.

Would rather sleep in my vehicle. The place was a dump 25 years ago. You can put lipstick on a pig.........

It is way cheaper to stay in Columbus or West Point, and only about 30 minutes away.
We splurge occasionally and do Comfort Suites or LA Quinta. Even did the Marriott for SBW.
