The 2016 class could be expanding by 2 in the next few days.

Osirus Mitchell 6'5" 200lbs WR from Sarasota, FL & Reggie Todd 6'5" 185lbs WR from Mobile, AL are both looking to be MSU Dawgs. Mitchell OV a couple weeks back & look to be set to enroll the 2nd summer term. Todd will be OV this weekend & we hope to get him in the 1st summer term early next week. Mitchell was a late qualifier with offers from MSU, Wake Forest, Maryland, & Minnesota. Todd was committed to New Mexico for a long time as a basketball player. He was rated 156 in the 247 Top 247 in basketball. He's decided to just play football on the next level & his grades have come up where he'll qualify also. He has football offers from MSU, USM, Cincinnati, & Louisiana Tech.

Had seen on Twitter about Osirus Mitchell possibly pulling the trigger but didn't know that Reggie Todd would. I'm not familiar with him though. But that sounds great!

They will figure into 2017 class but count in 2016 numbers?

No they're 2016 guys. They're both expected to enroll this summer.

Any chance there are a couple of disgruntled OL out there?

Thanks Dan, this is great news. Look like a couple of De'Runnya's but with better front end talent (less raw). This should be very exciting news to everyone

Let's hope so.

De'Runnya could straight up abuse some DBs in run blocking. I hope we get that back as well as the obvious receiving need.

How long are we going to keep calling every 6'4+ WR the next Derunnya?

That would be awesome. Mitchell looks like he has great hands and Todd look like a juke box.

Mitchell has committed. He doesn't graduate until Saturday so he won't enroll until July & the 2nd term.

I haven't heard about him trying to play basketball but that's not the reason I post this. I think basketball can actually show a better snapshot of what type of athlete we are getting if Reggie Todd signs. I like the fact that he blocked a lot of shots. It tells me that he has great reaction and quick hand eye coordination. Also, his ability to contort his body in the air is impressive. He should make a great WR especially with Billy G working with him.

Yea I agree Reggie Todd looks more athletic for his size than Mitchell and is shifty for him being that tall. On the other hand Mitchell is fast to be 6'5" and both have good hands. This is great news I hope we get both enrolled soon. Mitchell, Todd and Couch on the outside will be a good battle and depth.

I like Mitchell. I think he plays this year. He's the more natural WR with big play potential. Todd is physical and plays big. You could plug him in right now to do the same things Wilson did.You can't go wrong with either. Great get by the coaches.
