Bammer needs to look around at themselves, not at the coach. Gaspard is about the best they can do. Hope he lands on his feet.

I've no clue (as I know less than dick about baseball), but I thought Wells was a better coach...

There are several SEC schools with (what I believe to be) better coaches and Alabama could get a similar cat... it's just not a priority and we "don't care enough"...

Heck, Softball may be a bigger deal over there at this point.

Softball is a much bigger deal over there right now and it should be...those girls and coaching staff are GOOD. No doubt Bama can contend in baseball but it's a much different SEC now than it was 20 yrs ago. Will be interesting to see who the next HC will be for y'all. Thought for sure he'd get one more year - especially since TN gave Serrano one more.

If I were Bama I know who I would go after. An assistant in the SEC. A pitching coach we know well. I certainly hope they don't but he's gonna be a hot name very very soon
