Louisiana-Lafayette athletic director Scott Farmer made a point of noting that the NCAA described the university's level of cooperation as "exemplary" and chose not to impose a postseason ban on the Ragin' Cajuns.

Still, the NCAA added some penalties beyond what ULL had self-imposed, placing the university on probation for two years through Jan. 11, 2018, assessing a $5,000 fine, adding more recruiting restrictions next season and vacating certain additional results from 2012-14.

ULL had ONE Level 1 violation- ONE. Then the Saunders mess. Freeze has 3 by himself and 4 total for his staff. And that doesnt even get to Phase 2 with the burner phones, Tunsil draft night revelations, etc. The NCAA CANT just accept the self-imposed mess and stop there. People would go nuts around the country. Its going to get alot darker in Oxford before the Dawn.

Is Freeze on the hot seat?

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch. I hope the NCAA doesn't fall for the no summer punishment meeting to give them time for a "self investigation of the Tunsil draft night fiasco". It's just a delaying tactic to get in one more recruiting class before the penalty phase.

They think they're gonna skate on the Saunders and Vaughn academic fraud just because it was prior to Freeze.

It's in the NOA. No statute of limitations. Multiple Aggravated Level 1's. I'm not expecting leniency just because they hid it well for 3 or 4 years.

They probably let ULL off easy because they helped them with the Ole Miss case. That's not good for Ole Miss.
